The association Ville et Métiers d'Art was created in 1992 on the initiative of local elected officials. The Ville et Métiers d'Art network brings together 88 communities (metropolises, communities of municipalities, medium-sized towns and small towns). This represents today nearly 600 municipalities. The members of the Ville et Métiers d'Art association share the same policy: to encourage the development and transmission of exceptional know-how.
